- 8+ years related work experience required.
- Experience administering Redhat or SUSE running in a 24×7 environment.
- Experience in server builds, NFS, shell scripting (or similar Python or PERL experience), performance tuning, patch management and firmware updates.
- Experience in supporting servers using HDS and EMC storage solutions.
- Experience in supporting UNIX and Linux systems running Oracle database solutions.
- 3+ Years of experience with Oracle Exadata OR Oracle Exalogic. (Supporting Bundle Patch implementations)
- Experience in implementing software and hardware RAID solutions, using Linux LVM, Symantec/Veritas Volume Manager OR Solaris Volume Manager.
- Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, Linux and Unix server hardware technologies
- Experience with mainstream anti-virus, backup, patch management systems and enterprise monitoring/alerting tools.
